The route to the playground area

• There are no accessible parking spaces near the playground. The nearest parking area is within 10 metres.
• The pick-up and drop-off area is located under 5 meters from the playground gate.
• A smooth and sufficiently wide asphalted route leads to the playground gate. The route is illuminated.

Playground area

• The playground is surrounded by a metal fence whose gate is too narrow for a wheelchair. Inside the fence there are asphalt-surfaced walkways. The entire play area is illuminated.
• The playground has an information board that can be accessed by a wheelchair. The information board can also be looked at up close.
• The playground has benches and tables that are wheelchair accessible. Some of the tables and benches have been designed for children's dimensions.
• The playground has swings, a slide, a sandbox, a climbing frame.
• The swings: The swings are situated at the edge of the area. There is a bench for an adult near the swings. Safety mulch has been installed under the swings. The play area also has a safety swing for a small child, a saucer swing.
• The slide: There is space for a wheelchair around the slide and a bench for an adult nearby. A wet pour rubber safety surface has been installed under the slide. The slide can be accessed via a ladder.
• The sandbox: The edge of the sandbox is too low for wheelchair access. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
• The climbing frame: Safety mulch has been installed under the climbing frame. There is a bench for an adult nearby.

Playground building

• The entrance of the playground building stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
• In connection with the entrance, there are at least 4 steps.
• The entrance has a ramp over 6 meters long without an intermediate landing, with handrails on both sides.
• The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. The door opens easily manually.
• The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
• The activities take place on the entrance floor.
• The doors in the facility are hard to perceive.
