We are conducting a survey on the experiences of violence in close relationships among Helsinki residents aged 18 and over. You can respond to the survey anonymously until 9 October 2026. Every response helps us develop services and strengthen support for all those affected by violence and their loved ones.

Expecting a child
In the section, we provide information and support for those trying to have a child and those expecting a child. Learn about wellbeing during pregnancy, pregnancy care and preparing for a new member in your family.

We provide information about supporting emotional skills, physical growth and the first steps towards independence at primary school age. We also provide tips on hobbies, acquiring a phone and challenges in school life.
With a teenager (age 13–17)
We provide information about changes in teenagers’ relationships and their journey towards independence. We offer tips on maintaining emotional connection.
Parenthood and family relations
On this website, you will find professional advice on family relationships and wellbeing, as well as guidance on how to nurture them. We also provide support for the challenges of a family with children.
