At the beginning of this year, the revised Disability Services Act brought with it a new provision applying to the person’s life stage. The amendment introduced new criteria for assessing the need for services and sets out in detail who can receive for disability services. Transport service charges also changed as of the beginning of the year.
We are conducting a survey on the experiences of violence in close relationships among Helsinki residents aged 18 and over. You can respond to the survey anonymously until 9 October 2026. Every response helps us develop services and strengthen support for all those affected by violence and their loved ones.
We provide housing services for people who require assistance with their daily life at home due to a disability, long-term illness or functional capacity limitation. We offer supported housing, service housing, and short-term housing options tailored to people with disabilities.
