Walk-in service for sexual health and contraceptive counselling from 28 September onwards

From 28 September onwards, young people under the age of 18 are welcome to the walk-in service on Mondays from 16.00 to 18.00 at the new address, Vironkatu 2 (2nd floor).

We are conducting a survey on the experiences of violence in close relationships among Helsinki residents aged 18 and over. You can respond to the survey anonymously until 9 October 2026. Every response helps us develop services and strengthen support for all those affected by violence and their loved ones.

Contraceptive counselling

You can access contraceptive services free of charge at your health station, school or student health services, maternity clinic, or the centralised contraceptive counselling clinic.

Contraceptive counselling at a health station
We can help you with contraception and provide advice if you are considering an abortion.
Centralised contraceptive counselling
We focus especially on providing contraception for people under the age of 18. We also offer IUD insertions for those who have not given birth vaginally.
Free-of-charge contraception
Find out which contraceptive methods are free of charge for people under 25. If you are 25 or older, you may also be eligible for free contraception in certain situations.
