Walk-in service for sexual health and contraceptive counselling from 28 September onwards

From 28 September onwards, young people under the age of 18 are welcome to the walk-in service on Mondays from 16.00 to 18.00 at the new address, Vironkatu 2 (2nd floor).

Answer a survey on violence in close relationships

We are conducting a survey on the experiences of violence in close relationships among Helsinki residents aged 18 and over. You can respond to the survey anonymously until 9 October 2026. Every response helps us develop services and strengthen support for all those affected by violence and their loved ones.

Centralised contraceptive counselling

We provide contraceptive services primarily to under 18-year-olds. We also carry out IUD and contraceptive implant insertions and removals for people under 25. In addition, we provide IUD services for those who have given birth less than three months ago, as well as more complex IUD services for all ages.

If you are coming to the clinic for the first time, you can fill out and print out a preliminary information form in advance.

We offer free contraceptives under certain criteria. Read more about free contraception

If the contraceptive is not free of charge, you will receive an electronic prescription to buy it at a pharmacy.

Contact us if you are under the age of 25 and want a birth control implant or if you want to have one removed. If you are 25 or older, you can get your birth control implant inserted, replaced, or removed at your local health station.

We can insert an IUD if

  • you are under the age of 25
  • you have given birth less than three months ago
  • your health station has been unable to insert or remove an IUD for you.
