In occupational therapy for schoolchildren, we support the child's ability to cope at school and in leisure time.
Occupational therapy for schoolchildren is a preventive service. It is intended for schoolchildren whose everyday life is difficult, for example, due to challenges in motor learning or perception. The occupational therapy services are accessed with a referral, which you can get, for example, from school health services.
We will assess the pupil's ability to take care of themself and their school skills, motor coordination, mental skills as well as cognitive and social skills.
We will work in the pupil's own operating environment at home and school as well as at our office in Länsi-Pasila.
Occupational therapy is free of charge.
